Καλώδιο δικτύου Ethernet Sharkoon RJ45 CAT.6 SFTP 20,0 m

Shielded Ethernet patch cable Sharkoon RJ45 CAT.6 SFTP 20.0m is a 20-metre network cable that conforms to the CAT.6 specification and uses SFTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. It is fitted with standard RJ45 connectors on both ends and is designed to support Gigabit Ethernet speeds for wired connections in home, office or data-center environments where a longer, shielded link is required.

Advantages

The SFTP (shielded foil twisted pair) construction combines an overall braided shield with individual pair foil shielding to minimize crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal stability over longer distances. CAT.6 performance ensures support for Gigabit Ethernet and improved headroom compared with lower category cables. Standard RJ45 plugs provide compatibility with routers, switches, computers and other network equipment, while the 20.0 m length allows flexible placement of devices without relying on intermediate patch panels or additional extenders.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting routers, switches and networked PCs in home or office environments
• Linking network devices in small server rooms or communications cabinets
• Wiring devices where reduced electromagnetic interference is needed (near power lines or dense cabling)
• Temporary or permanent workstation cabling where a 20 m length is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT.6
• Shielding type: SFTP (overall braid + foil on pairs)
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Length: 20.0 m
• Supported network speed: Gigabit Ethernet (up to 1 Gbps)
• Conductor: stranded or solid copper (designed for patching and device connections)

How to use

Connect each RJ45 connector securely into the corresponding network ports on your router, switch or device until the latch clicks. Avoid tight bends and kinks along the 20.0 m run; maintain bend radii to prevent signal degradation. If routing through racks, conduits, or cable trays, ensure the shielding and connectors remain intact and that plugs are not exposed to excessive strain. For best results, test the link speed and connection stability after installation using a network tester or the device network diagnostics.

Recommendations

For installations near electrical equipment or multiple parallel cables, keep a small separation distance where possible and use the shielded cable grounding provided by your network equipment to maximize EMI protection. For permanent fixed wiring, verify whether solid-core CAT.6 cable would be more appropriate; this patch cable is optimized for flexible connections and patching.
