Καλώδιο δικτύου Equip Cat.6A S/FTP RJ-45 5,0 m μωβ

The Equip Cat.6A S/FTP Patch Cord (5.0 m) is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transfer up to 10000 Mbit/s. It features RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for demanding network environments and 10GBase-T applications. The cable comes in a purple jacket and has a length of 5 meters.

Advantages

The Cat.6A S/FTP design provides improved bandwidth and a higher signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, enabling stable 10G performance. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure reliable connectivity and corrosion resistance. The S/FTP shielding minimizes crosstalk and external interference, which helps maintain error-free data transmission in congested or high-EMI environments.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network links in server rooms and data centres
• High-speed workstation or NAS connections
• Structured cabling installations requiring shielded cables
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbit/s)
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Contact plating: gold
• Product colour: Purple
• Weight: 0.163 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device (switch, router, server or workstation) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the opposite device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; observe standard installation practices for shielded cables, including proper grounding of shielded outlets and patch panels if required.

Recommendations

For optimal 10G performance, use the Equip Cat.6A S/FTP cable for short to medium runs (typical structured-cabling distances) and ensure both ends and the connected infrastructure support Cat6A/10GBase-T and shielded connections. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to reduce interference.
