The equip® Cat.6A S/FTP Patch Cord is manufactured from high-quality materials and tested to meet industry standards. Designed for environments requiring increased bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise ratio, this Cat.6A cable supports reliable, high-speed data transmission and is suitable for 10G applications in demanding networks.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP design reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving connection stability. Tested for compliance with industry requirements, the cable provides consistent performance and supports higher data rates. Its construction aims to deliver error-minimized transmission in congested or high-performance network setups.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6A
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield with individually shielded pairs)
• Application: Suitable for 10G Ethernet
• Performance: Designed for higher bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin
• Compliance: Manufactured and tested to meet industry standards

How to use

Install the patch cord between compatible RJ45 ports on networking equipment such as switches, routers, patch panels or network interface cards. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and secured in the ports. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and strong electromagnetic sources to maintain shielding effectiveness and optimal signal quality.

Recommendations

For best results in 10G environments, use the patch cord within a structured cabling system and follow vendor guidelines for channel length and installation practices to ensure certified performance.
