Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP RJ-45 0.5m is a high-performance patch cable designed for 10GBase-T networks. The 0.5 m cable features RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity for data rates up to 10000 Mbit/s.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding and quality materials provide improved signal-to-noise margin and reduced crosstalk compared with lower-category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure reliable contact and corrosion resistance. Compact 0.5 m length suits short patching runs while supporting ultrahigh bandwidth and stable 10G performance.

Suitable for

• Short connections between switches, patch panels and servers
• 10GBase-T LANs requiring low interference and high throughput
• Data centre and server rack patching
• High-density office cabling where space is limited

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Shielding: S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair)
• Maximum data rate: 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: White
• Weight: 0.035 kg

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the corresponding network port on devices such as switches, patch panels or network interfaces. Ensure connectors click into place and that cable routing avoids sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For best performance, use in short patch runs within the recommended length and avoid stretching the cable.

Recommendations

For reliable 10G performance, pair this 0.5 m Cat.6A S/FTP cable with compatible Cat.6A-rated ports and maintain proper cable management to minimise bend radius and interference.
