Καλώδιο δικτύου Equip Cat.6 S/FTP Καλώδιο patch RJ-45 50m πορτοκαλί

The Equip Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cable is a 50 m network cable designed for reliable data transmission in demanding environments. It uses S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, and its orange jacket improves visibility in installations.

Advantages

The cable provides higher bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, supporting stable, low-error connections. S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while the LSZH orange jacket offers easy identification and safer use in spaces where low smoke and halogen-free materials are preferred.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in offices and data closets
• Connections between switches, patch panels and network devices
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference
• Installations where cable visibility or color-coding is required

When it may not be suitable

This Cat.6 cable is intended for typical Ethernet and network patching; it may not be suitable where higher-category performance (for example Cat.6A or Cat.7) is required for greater bandwidth or future-proofing at higher frequencies. It is also not intended as permanent outdoor burial cable unless additional weatherproofing or conduit protection is applied.

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 50 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Jacket colour: Orange
• Jacket type: LSZH (low smoke, zero halogen)
• Weight: 1.2606 kg

How to use

Uncoil the 50 m cable carefully to avoid kinks and pull it through the intended cable routes or conduit. Terminate both ends into RJ-45 ports on network devices, switches, or patch panels. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and secure any excess cable with appropriate cable management accessories to maintain bend radius and reduce strain.

What to consider before purchase

• Required cable length and routing path to ensure 50 m is sufficient
• Whether Cat.6 performance meets your bandwidth and future-proofing needs
• Need for LSZH jacket for low smoke and halogen-free environments
• Whether S/FTP shielding is necessary for your electromagnetic environment

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tight bends and mechanical stress, keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines where possible, and use proper patch panels or keystone jacks for neat, reliable terminations.
