The equip® Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cable (10 m) is a blue, fully shielded Ethernet cable designed for reliable gigabit connections. With S/FTP shielding and gold‑plated RJ-45 connectors, this Cat.6 cable supports data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is manufactured to meet industry standards for signal integrity and reduced interference.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded cables, while gold-plated RJ-45 plugs ensure stable contacts and corrosion resistance. The 10 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or within server racks without additional coupling.

Suitable for

• Gigabit LAN connections (10/100/1000Base-T)
• Home and office networking
• Connecting switches, routers, PCs, printers and patch panels

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat.6 S/FTP
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 – RJ-45, gold‑plated
• Supported speeds: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Blue
• Weight: 0.384 kg

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click. For best performance, avoid sharp bends, kinks and running the cable parallel to power lines to minimise potential interference.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality, use this Cat.6 S/FTP patch cable in environments requiring gigabit throughput. Replace the cable if connectors show visible wear or if data errors occur; avoid exceeding recommended bending radius to maintain shielding integrity.
