Καλώδιο δικτύου Equip Cat.5e SF/UTP Patchkabel RJ-45 Cat5e 5 m κόκκινο

The equip® Cat.5e SF/UTP Patch Cord is a 5 m network cable designed for reliable wired connections in 10/100/1000Base-T(X) environments. Constructed from high-quality materials and tested to meet the EIA/TIA 568-B.2 channel standard, this red patch cable uses RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and SF/UTP shielding to reduce interference and maintain signal integrity.

Advantages

Built to EIA/TIA 568-B.2 channel standard, the cable provides stable, low-error data transmission. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve conductivity and reduce contact resistance, while the SF/UTP shielding offers enhanced protection against electromagnetic interference. The 5 m length is suitable for typical patching needs and the red colour helps with visual identification in cabling installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in office or data centre networks
• Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-TX) connections
• Patching between wall outlets and network devices
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: SF/UTP (foil screened, overall braided/unspecified)
• Colour: Red
• Weight: 0.153 kg
• Standards: EIA/TIA 568-B.2 channel

How to use

Ensure both network devices are powered off or that network activity is safe to interrupt. Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of a switch, router or wall outlet and the other connector into the target device. Verify link lights on the devices to confirm physical connection and correct negotiating speed for the network. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electrical noise.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid running the SF/UTP patch cable in parallel with mains power lines over long distances. Use proper cable management (patch panels, cable ties, trays) to minimize strain on connectors and to maintain shielding effectiveness.
