Καλώδιο δικτύου EFB Elektronik RJ45 U/UTP Cat.5e κίτρινο 2m

The EFB Elektronik RJ45 U/UTP Cat.5e Yellow 2m is a 2-meter networking cable with RJ-45 plugs on both ends, designed for reliable Ethernet connections. The cable follows TIA/EIA 568B pinning and uses unshielded (U/UTP) twisted pairs with PVC jacket. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity while LEAD < 90 PPM and Cadmium < 5 PPM indicate reduced hazardous metal content. Its yellow colour helps with quick identification in installations.

Advantages

This Cat.5e cable provides stable data transmission for typical home and office networks and complies with standard TIA/EIA 568B wiring. The RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts offer improved contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The PVC jacket and U/UTP construction make the cable flexible and easy to route, while the bright yellow colour simplifies cable management and identification.

Suitable for

• Ethernet connections at Fast Ethernet and some Gigabit network segments
• Connecting PCs, routers, switches and network devices in homes and offices
• Patch cable use in structured cabling and small server rooms

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Category: Cat.5e (TIA/EIA 568B)
• Construction: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Jacket material: PVC
• Colour: Yellow
• Hazardous metals: LEAD < 90 PPM, Cadmium < 5 PPM

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports of devices such as computers, routers or switches. Ensure the connectors click into place and that the cable is routed without sharp bends to maintain signal integrity. For structured cabling, follow TIA/EIA 568B termination and port labelling to keep consistent wiring throughout the installation.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.5e cable for typical Fast Ethernet deployments and short Gigabit links where Cat.5e performance is sufficient; avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines to reduce interference and keep bend radius gentle to preserve connector and cable life.
