Καλώδιο δικτύου EFB Elektronik K8456.7,5 7,5m Cat5e U/FTP

The EFB Elektronik K8456.7,5 is a 7.5-metre Cat5e U/FTP networking cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in home and office environments. With RJ-45 connectors on both ends and individual pair foil shielding, this grey cable supports typical Cat5e performance for fast data transfer and reduced crosstalk. The cable construction balances flexibility and durability for regular installation and re-routing.

Advantages

The cable’s U/FTP (unshielded overall, foil-shielded twisted pairs) design improves protection against electromagnetic interference on each twisted pair, which helps maintain signal integrity across the 7.5 m length. Standard RJ-45 plugs ensure compatibility with switches, routers, PCs and other networked devices. Its grey jacket offers a neutral visual profile suitable for visible runs in offices or living spaces, while the stranded core and quality connectors provide consistent physical and electrical contact.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers or laptops to switches and routers
• Networked printers, NAS devices and IP cameras within short to medium runs
• Temporary or permanent Ethernet links in home offices and small business networks

Key specifications

• Category: Cat5e
• Shielding: U/FTP (overall unshielded, individual pair foil shielded)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Grey
• Typical application: 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet (depending on network hardware)

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet ports of the devices you want to connect — for example, between a router or switch and a computer. Ensure connectors are inserted fully until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, high-traffic areas and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For wall-mounted equipment or structured cabling, use appropriate cable management clips or conduits to secure the cable and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep the cable run within the recommended length for copper Ethernet standards and avoid coiling tightly around objects. When installing near power lines or large electrical equipment, maintain separation to reduce potential interference. Verify network settings and device capabilities to ensure the link operates at the expected speed.
