The EFB Elektronik K8104SW.7,5 RJ-45 Cat6 networking cable is a 7.5 m black cable designed for reliable wired data connections. It supports data transfer speeds up to 5000 Mbit/s, uses RJ-45 connectors on both ends with gold-plated contacts for improved contact quality, and features U/UTP shielding to reduce external interference. The cable is intended for structured network connections in home and office environments where a stable Ethernet link is required.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable provides high-speed data transmission up to 5000 Mbit/s and uses gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain consistent contact resistance. The U/UTP shielding helps minimize crosstalk and electromagnetic interference from nearby devices. With a 7.5 m length and a black exterior, the cable offers a balance between reach and discreet appearance for desktop, rack, or wall routing.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches, and routers within a room or office
• Wired connections for IPTV set-top boxes, smart TVs, and media players
• Patch panel connections in small server cabinets or network racks
• Temporary or permanent workstation cabling where 7.5 m length is appropriate

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat6
• Cable length: 7.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall unshielded with twisted pairs)
• Colour: Black
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 5000 Mbit/s

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet ports of the devices you want to connect, ensuring a firm click indicates proper seating. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources when possible to preserve signal integrity. For patching into a panel or switch, align the clip orientation with the port and apply gentle pressure until the connector locks. If a longer or shorter run is required, choose an appropriately sized cable to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat6 cable for gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet links in environments where a 7.5 m length is suitable. Avoid tight coiling and excessive tension during installation; keep the cable free from heavy weight and sharp edges. When routing near power cables or motors, maintain separation to reduce potential interference.
