The EFB Elektronik K8072.25 RJ-45 Cat5e networking cable is a 25 m black patch cable designed for reliable wired connections. It meets the Cat5e standard and features F/UTP shielding with RJ-45 connectors and gold-plated contacts. The cable supports data transfer rates up to 2500 Mbit/s and is suitable for structured cabling in homes, offices, and small server rooms where a stable Ethernet connection is required.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable provides stable signal transmission thanks to its F/UTP shielding which reduces electromagnetic interference from adjacent cables and devices. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent connectivity and help prevent corrosion over time. The 25 m length offers flexibility in connecting devices across larger rooms without the need for additional patch panels or extenders. The black outer jacket delivers a discreet, professional appearance that fits most networking environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops, and VoIP phones to network switches or routers
• Wiring home networks and small office LANs
• Temporary or permanent patching between network equipment across moderate distances
• Multimedia streaming and online gaming where wired stability is preferred

Key specifications

How to use

Uncoil the cable and route it between the source and destination devices avoiding sharp bends and high-interference electrical sources. Insert the RJ-45 connectors firmly into the LAN ports of your devices until they click into place. Verify link status indicators on connected equipment to confirm a successful connection. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines and keep it away from large motors or fluorescent lighting fixtures.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, secure the cable with appropriate clips or cable management accessories and avoid tight knots or severe kinks. When installing in racks or conduits, allow slack for service access and do not exceed the cable's minimum bend radius. Use connectors and patch panels rated for Cat5e or higher to preserve signal integrity.
