Καλώδιο δικτύου EFB Elektronik K5517.5 RJ-45 Cat6 5m καφέ

Networking Cable EFB Elektronik K5517.5 is a 5 m Cat6 patch cable designed for reliable Gigabit Ethernet connections. The brown S/FTP cable with PiMF (pairs in metal foil) and LSZH jacket supports frequencies up to 250 MHz and follows TIA/EIA 568B wiring to ensure compatibility with standard network equipment. Both ends have shielded RJ45 plugs (IEC 60603-7-5) and a moulded strain relief boot with latch protection for durable connections.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction with individual pair shielding and an overall shield reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity for Gigabit Ethernet. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket and flame-retardant properties (IEC 60332-1, IEC 60754-2, IEC 61034) increase safety in confined or public spaces. Molded strain relief and shielded RJ45 plugs provide robust mechanical protection and consistent contact.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit Ethernet connections in home and office networks
• Connecting switches, routers, NAS devices, and PCs
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference (industrial or dense cabling)
• Installations where low-smoke, halogen-free materials are required

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Standard: Cat6, 250 MHz
• Conductor: 4 x 2 x AWG27/7
• Configuration: S/FTP (PiMF) shielded
• Connectors: 2 × RJ45 shielded (IEC 60603-7-5), TIA/EIA 568B coded
• Jacket: LSZH (low smoke, halogen-free)
• Safety: Flame retardant IEC 60332-1; halogen-free IEC 60754-2; low smoke IEC 61034
• Outer diameter: Ø 6.2 mm

How to use

Plug each RJ45 connector into the corresponding network port on your devices, ensuring the molded latch protection is engaged. The cable follows TIA/EIA 568B wiring; no additional configuration is needed for standard Ethernet equipment. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; the molded strain relief helps prevent damage at the connector ends.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep bend radius greater than the cable diameter. Use the shielded connectors with grounded network equipment to maintain the effectiveness of the S/FTP shielding.
