Καλώδιο δικτύου EFB Elektronik K5459.20 RJ-45 Cat5e 20 m μπλε

The EFB Elektronik K5459.20 is a 20 m Cat5e networking cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Ethernet. The cable uses SF/UTP (S-FTP) construction with foil and braid shielding around four twisted pairs (4 x 2 x AWG26/7) and a PVC jacket with a 5.7 mm diameter. It is TIA/EIA 568B-coded, flame-retardant to IEC 60332-1, and fitted with moulded strain relief boots that include latch protection.

Advantages

The shielded SF/UTP design reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for more reliable Gigabit connections. RJ-45 plugs conform to IEC 60603-7-3 and the moulded boots protect the connector latch and reduce strain at the cable ends. The 20 m length provides flexibility for home or office installations while maintaining Cat5e performance up to 100 MHz.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections for desktops, laptops and network devices
• Structured cabling in home or small office networks
• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels within 20 m runs

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat5e, 100 MHz
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: 2 × RJ-45 (shielded, IEC 60603-7-3)
• Cable type: SF/UTP (S-FTP), 4 × 2 × AWG26/7, PVC jacket, Ø 5.7 mm
• Coding: TIA/EIA 568B
• Flame retardant: IEC 60332-1
• Color: Blue

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports of your network devices, ensuring the connector latch clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For permanent installations, use cable management tools or clips to secure the cable and avoid tension on the moulded boots.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat5e shielded cable for runs up to 20 m in typical home and office environments. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines or large electrical equipment to minimize interference. If higher bandwidth or longer runs are needed, consider upgrading to Cat6 or fiber solutions.
