Καλώδιο δικτύου EFB Elektronik K5458.25 κόκκινο 25 m Cat5e SF/UTP

The EFB Elektronik K5458.25 is a 25 m Cat5e SF/UTP patch cable with molded RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks and provides foil-and-braid shielding for improved protection against electromagnetic interference. The cable is flame-retardant to IEC 60332-1 and uses TIA/EIA 568B wiring standard; its red jacket makes it easy to identify in installations.

Advantages

The SF/UTP construction (foil and braid shield) combined with shielded RJ45 plugs (IEC 60603-7-3) reduces crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity for Gigabit Ethernet. The cable’s AWG26/7 conductor design and 100 MHz Cat5e rating ensure reliable high-speed data transmission for typical LAN applications. A moulded strain relief boot with latch protection increases connector durability during frequent connection and disconnection.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections up to 1 Gbps (10/100/1000Base-T)
• Patching between switches, patch panels and network devices in offices or server rooms
• Environments where additional shielding is needed to reduce interference
• Colour-coded cable management and organised installations

Key specifications

• Length: 25 m
• Cable category: Cat5e, 100 MHz
• Shielding: SF/UTP (foil + braid)
• Conductor: 4 x 2 x AWG26/7
• Outer diameter: Ø 5.7 mm
• Connectors: 2 × RJ-45 shielded (IEC 60603-7-3)
• Wiring: TIA/EIA-568B coded
• Flame retardant: IEC 60332-1
• Colour: Red

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet ports of the devices you want to link (switch, router, PC or patch panel). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the moulded strain relief protects the plug and cable entry. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic noise for optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results in installations with potential interference, use the shielded RJ-45 grounding practices recommended for SF/UTP cables and follow site grounding guidelines; avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines.
