The EFB Elektronik EC020200217 RJ-45 Cat7 30 m Blue networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding wired network environments. It supports data transfer speeds up to 10000 Mbit/s and uses the Cat7 specification with S/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure stable contact and corrosion resistance over extended use, while the 30 m length provides flexibility for office, server room, or residential installations.

Advantages

This Cat7 cable combines high bandwidth capability with robust shielding: S/FTP construction protects each pair with foil and the overall cable with braided shielding, improving signal integrity in environments with electrical noise. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance connector reliability and minimize contact resistance. The 30 m jacketed cable offers a practical reach for linking switches, patch panels, routers, and workstations without repeated extension points.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections in offices and data centres
• Wired home networks requiring gigabit and multi-gigabit performance
• Connections between routers, switches, patch panels and network storage
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference where shielding improves stability

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 (Class F)
• Cable length: 30 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil + overall braided shield)
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Cable colour: Blue

How to use

Route the cable between network devices, avoiding sharp bends and tight coils that can damage internal pairs. Insert the RJ-45 plugs fully into the ports of your switch, router or network card until the latch clicks. For permanent installations, use cable management accessories and secure the cable at intervals to prevent strain on the connectors. Test the connection with network diagnostic tools to verify link speed and signal integrity after installation.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep the cable away from heavy electrical wiring and large transformers; use proper cable management to maintain bend radius and avoid compressing the shield. When connecting to equipment, verify that devices support multi-gigabit or 10G speeds to take full advantage of the Cat7 capability.
