The EFB Elektronik EC020200059 30m Cat6a S/FTP Red is a high-performance Ethernet patch cable designed for structured cabling and high-speed network connections. Compliant with the Cat6a standard and featuring S/FTP shielding, this 30 metre cable supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure reliable contact and reduced corrosion. The bright red jacket provides clear visual identification within server rooms, data cabinets or office environments.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable provides improved alien crosstalk protection and reduced electromagnetic interference thanks to its foil-shielded pairs and overall braided shield. The gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve signal integrity at connection points, while the 30 m length offers flexibility for linking equipment over longer distances without intermediate patch panels. The durable outer jacket resists everyday wear and maintains cable geometry for consistent performance.

Suitable for

• Backbone and horizontal network runs in offices and data centers
• High-speed Ethernet connections up to 10 Gbps
• Connections between switches, routers, patch panels and servers
• Environments requiring clear cable identification by color

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 30 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Maximum supported data rate: 10000 Mbit/s (10 Gbps)
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts
• Color: Red

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring gentle bends and avoiding sharp kinks. Terminate the RJ-45 connectors into the matching ports on switches, routers or network interface cards until the latch clicks. For optimal performance, avoid running the cable parallel to large power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. Leave slack near equipment to accommodate movement and maintenance.

Recommendations

For best results in high-density or high-speed installations, use the Cat6a S/FTP cable in combination with compatible Cat6a-rated patch panels and connectors. Maintain bend radius recommendations and keep cable runs within the supported length to ensure consistent 10 Gbps performance.
