Networking Cable EFB Elektronik Cat.6a HiroseTM21 RJ-45 SF/UTP 5m Black is a 5-meter Cat6a patch cable with SF/UTP (S/FTP PIMF) shielding and Hirose TM21 RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The cable is halogen-free, supports frequencies up to 1000 MHz and is coded to TIA/EIA 568B, offering reliable high-speed data transmission for structured cabling in offices and data centers.

Advantages

The SF/UTP (S/FTP PIMF) construction reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity at higher frequencies up to 1000 MHz. Hirose TM21 RJ-45 connectors provide secure mechanical connection and compatibility with standard RJ-45 ports. The halogen-free jacket increases safety in enclosed spaces by reducing toxic fumes in case of fire.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections (10GBASE-T and lower)
• Patch panels and network switches in offices and data centers
• Environments requiring reduced EMI and improved signal integrity

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6a
• Length: 5 m
• Shielding: SF/UTP (S/FTP PIMF)
• Connectors: 2 × Hirose TM21 RJ-45
• Frequency: up to 1000 MHz
• Coding: TIA/EIA 568B
• Colour: Black
• Halogen-free jacket

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 Hirose TM21 plug to the network device or patch panel and the other end to a switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click for a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal performance.

Recommendations

For best results use this Cat.6a SF/UTP cable for links up to 5 m in structured cabling where high bandwidth and reduced EMI are required. Avoid excessive bending radii and do not expose the cable to high mechanical stress or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
