• Desk setups, media players, printers and IP devices requiring Ethernet

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Jacket colour: orange for easy identification
• Cable type: Ethernet patch cable designed for data transmission
• Construction features: flexible outer sheath and molded connector boots

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a switch, router or wall outlet terminated for Ethernet. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tension; use cable ties or organizers to maintain tidy runs and prevent stress on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this 2 m orange cable for short-distance connections where clear visual identification is beneficial. Avoid running the cable near high-voltage power lines or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For permanent installations in high-traffic areas, protect the cable with trunking or conduit and periodically check connector seating to maintain optimal performance.
