Καλώδιο δικτύου Draka Comteq 21.05.2005 πορτοκαλί 0,5 m

The Draka Comteq 21.05.2005 Orange 0.5 m networking cable is a short patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for reliable Ethernet connections in compact installations. Its 0.5 meter length reduces excess cable in dense racks and workstations, while the bright orange jacket improves visibility and identification within structured cabling systems. The cable supports typical Ethernet signal transmission and is intended for straightforward point-to-point connections between devices such as switches, patch panels and network ports.

Advantages

This networking cable combines a compact length with clear color coding to simplify cable management and reduce clutter. The RJ-45 connectors provide standard compatibility with Ethernet ports, and the flexible orange sheath allows for easy routing in tight spaces. The short length minimizes signal loss and helps maintain tidy, efficient cabling in server cabinets, patch bays and desktop setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to patch panels in data cabinets
• Linking network devices in home or office workstations
• Short connections between routers, modems and network ports
• Color-coded cabling in structured network installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 0.5 m
• Jacket color: orange
• Cable use: Ethernet patch cable (suitable for short point-to-point connections)
• Sheath flexibility: suitable for tight routing and patch panels

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into corresponding Ethernet ports on devices such as switches, routers, patch panels or network interface cards until they click into place. Use the 0.5 m length for short, direct connections to reduce slack and improve organization. When routing the cable, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension to preserve connector and cable integrity. If used in a rack or patch panel, label both ends as needed to match your color-coded scheme.

Recommendations

For predictable performance, choose this short orange patch cable for intra-rack or short-distance links where visual identification and minimal cable slack are priorities. Avoid running the cable alongside high-power electrical lines to reduce potential interference and inspect connectors periodically for secure seating.
