Καλώδιο δικτύου Digitus CAT 5e DK-1512-005/R 0,5 m κόκκινο

The DIGITUS Patch cord CAT 5e DK-1512-005/R is a 0.5 m U/UTP network patch lead with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and a transparent blue colored plug for easy identification of Category 5e (100 MHz). Manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 5e specifications, this red patch cord provides the required channel performance up to 100 MHz, including NEXT (near end crosstalk), and includes a molded boot with kink protection, strain relief and latch protection.

Advantages

Compliant with ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 5e standards, the DIGITUS CAT 5e patch cord ensures channel-level performance up to 100 MHz and tested characteristics such as NEXT. The molded boots offer kink protection and strain relief while the integrated latch protection reduces the risk of connector damage. The transparent blue plug allows quick visual identification of Cat5e cables, and the red cable sheath provides clear color-coding for installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices in home networks
• Patch panels and switches in small office environments
• Short patch runs in structured cabling systems (0.5 m)
• Color-coded cable management and identification

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Standard: Category 5e (ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50173)
• Performance: up to 100 MHz, NEXT tested
• Connector: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: U/UTP
• Plug colour: transparent blue (for Cat5e identification); cable colour: red

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the appropriate ports on your network devices, patch panel or switch. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages; the molded boot with latch protection helps prevent accidental damage. Use this 0.5 m patch cord for short connections where a compact, color-coded link between devices is required.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain bend radii recommended for twisted-pair U/UTP cables and keep the patch cord away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference.
