The Deltaco STP-620S Black 20m Cat6 F/UTP networking cable provides a 20-metre connection optimized for reliable high-speed data transfer in home and office networks. Built to the Cat6 standard with F/UTP shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to maintain signal integrity over longer runs. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors finished with nickel/gold plating to ensure consistent conductivity and improved contact durability. A black outer jacket offers a discreet appearance suitable for visible or concealed installations.

Advantages

F/UTP shielding combined with Cat6 specification offers improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting higher stable data rates for wired connections. The nickel/gold plated RJ-45 connectors increase corrosion resistance and provide dependable physical contact. The 20 m length accommodates longer runs without the need for additional patching, while the black jacket delivers a neutral aesthetic that integrates into most environments.

Key specifications

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your device and the other end to a switch, router or wall socket. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large transformers or mains power lines. For wall or ceiling installations, use appropriate cable clips or trunking to prevent strain on the connectors and maintain signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within its specified length and avoid excessive bending or kinking. Where maximum shielding is required, verify that connected devices or panels support shielded cabling to maintain the grounding continuity of the F/UTP system.
