The DeLOCK 88187 is a 0.3 m Cat5e networking cable with S/UTP shielding and RJ‑45 connectors on both ends. Its compact length and standard Cat5e specification make it suitable for short connections and installations in panels or housings where a fixed cable entry is required. The cable is finished in black with silver connector housings.

Advantages

The S/UTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for more reliable data transmission. Short 0.3 m length minimises cable clutter and signal loss for close-proximity connections. Standard RJ‑45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network devices and patch panels.

How to use

Insert the RJ‑45 connectors into the corresponding Ethernet ports of the devices or into patch panel ports until they click into place. When routing the cable through a panel or housing, ensure the opening allows strain relief and does not pinch the cable. Verify link activity on connected devices after installation.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat5e S/UTP cable for short, fixed connections and avoid tight bends or excessive pulling; ensure connectors are fully seated and panels provide adequate strain relief.
