Καλώδιο δικτύου DeLOCK 85858 0,5 m Cat5e SF/UTP

The DeLOCK 85858 0.5m Cat5e SF/UTP networking cable is a short patch cable designed for reliable Ethernet connections in home and office environments. It complies with Cat5e standards for data transmission and uses an SF/UTP shielding configuration to reduce electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors and the cable is finished in grey, offering a neutral appearance that integrates easily into network installations.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable provides stable data transfer for typical broadband and local network tasks while the SF/UTP shielding improves resistance to external noise sources. The 0.5 m length minimises excess cable in close-proximity setups and helps maintain tidy cable runs. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between network ports in racks or desks
• Connecting a computer, printer or IP phone to a nearby switch or router
• Short runs in home networks, office workstations, and meeting rooms
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding: SF/UTP (overall foil with braided shield and unshielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 0.5 m
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your device and the other to the switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking clip engages. Use the 0.5 m length for short, direct connections to avoid cable clutter; avoid sharp bends or kinks near the connector ends to maintain signal integrity. If routing the cable through confined spaces, check that shielding and connector strain relief are not stressed.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this cable for short-distance connections within a single room or rack. Keep the cable away from strong power sources and large unshielded electrical equipment to maximise the effectiveness of the SF/UTP shielding.
