Καλώδιο δικτύου BlueOptics CB-LC-LC-MMF7M 7,5m Multimode Patchkabel

The BlueOptics CB-LC-LC-MMF7M 7.5m Multimode Patch Cable is a 7.5-meter optical fibre cable with LC connectors on both ends designed for multimode transmission. It is intended for use in structured cabling systems, server rooms and network racks where short- to medium-reach optical links are required. The cable supports high-speed data transfer with low insertion loss characteristic of multimode assemblies and provides a standardized interface for patching equipment and optical transceivers.

Advantages

This multimode patch cable uses LC duplex connectors that offer compact, reliable mating and are compatible with a wide range of transceivers and patch panels. The 7.5 m length gives flexibility for routing between racks or cabinets without excess slack. The cable construction is optimized to minimise attenuation and insertion loss across typical multimode wavelengths, ensuring stable links for Ethernet and other optical network protocols. Its standardized connector type simplifies installation and maintenance in professional network environments.

How to use

Identify the appropriate LC ports on network devices or patch panels and insert the LC connectors until they click into place. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and physical strain; maintain the manufacturer’s recommended bend radius for multimode fibre to prevent increased attenuation. If duplex operation is required, ensure correct orientation of transmit and receive pairs. Verify link status on connected devices and, if needed, test the connection with a fibre tester to confirm loss and continuity.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable using gentle coils and protective caps on connectors when not in use. Avoid exposing the cable to excessive heat or mechanical stress. For installations in shared or cable-dense trays, label both ends for easy identification and perform post-installation testing to ensure expected optical performance.
