Καλώδιο δικτύωσης Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 0.5m

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 0.5m networking cable is a short, high-performance Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable wired connections in networked environments. Built to Cat6 standards, the cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) data rates and uses SF/UTP (S/FTP PIMF) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Both ends terminate in gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and the cable is finished in grey for a discreet professional appearance.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield with individually foil-shielded pairs, providing improved protection against external noise and minimizing pair-to-pair interference for stable gigabit performance. The 0.5 m length reduces signal loss and clutter in dense patch panels or close-proximity device connections. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact and corrosion resistance, while compliance with Cat6 specifications supports reliable transmission for typical office and home networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers or patch panels to nearby devices
• Short-distance connections in server racks and telecom cabinets
• Home and office gigabit Ethernet links where space is limited
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference requiring shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Cabling standard: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braided shield + foil individually shielded pairs)
• Supported data rates: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Color: Grey

How to use

Identify the two devices you need to connect and ensure both have RJ-45 ports. Insert one RJ-45 connector into the network port of the first device and the other connector into the second device until the locking tab clicks into place. For rack or patch panel use, route the cable to avoid tight bends and strain; keep the length straight and avoid pulling on the connector heads. Verify network link lights or operating system network status to confirm the physical connection.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5 m Helos CAT6 S/FTP cable for short, high-quality connections where shielding is needed. Avoid sharp bends (radius less than the cable diameter), excessive tensile force, and exposure to liquids or direct sunlight to maintain performance over time.
