InLine λεπτό καλώδιο SAS, SFF-8654 8X σε SFF-8654 8X, 48 Gb/s, 1m

Reliable high-speed connection for SAS storage:The Slim SAS cable connects internal SAS devices such as hard drives, backplanes or storage solutions directly to controllers and supports data transfers of up to 48 Gb/s.
Optimised for modern storage architectures:Compliant with SAS 4.0 SFF-8654 specifications and suitable for use with RAID controllers, HBA cards, JBOD and DAS systems.
Multi-channel data transfer:Supports up to eight channels with up to 6 Gb/s per channel, enabling parallel connection of multiple storage devices.
Secure connection in server operation:The integrated locking clip ensures that the connector is held securely in place and prevents accidental disconnection in server or storage systems.

In modern server and storage systems, large amounts of data must be transferred reliably and with stable performance. The InLine® Slim SAS cable with SFF-8654 8i connectors enables a direct internal connection between SAS controllers and storage devices.
When setting up server systems, the cable is often used to connect RAID controllers or HBA cards to backplanes or individual SAS hard drives. With support for eight channels, multiple drives can be connected in parallel.
The cable also serves as an internal connection between controllers and storage modules in storage extensions such as JBOD or DAS systems. The locking clip ensures a stable connection during operation.

How to use

Identify the SFF-8654 8X ports on the controller and the target SAS device or enclosure. Align the cable connectors with the ports and insert them firmly until seated; ensure the cable routing avoids sharp bends and interference with cooling airflow. Verify device recognition in the host system and check for proper operation through the controller firmware or operating system storage utilities.

Recommendations

Use this InLine Slim SAS cable for internal connections only. Avoid excessive bending or twisting near the connectors, and maintain appropriate cable management to preserve airflow and serviceability in server or storage racks.
