InLine καλώδιο Mini SAS HD SFF-8643 γωνιακό σε 4x SATA + Sideband 0,5 m

This internal Mini SAS HD cable with SFF-8643 connector is intended for connecting a Mini SAS HD 4i (SFF-8643) port to four SATA devices. The cable is 0.5 m long, has an angled SFF-8643 plug and four SATA connectors, and is suitable for internal server and workstation storage connections where compact routing is required.

Advantages

The angled SFF-8643 design improves cable routing in tight spaces. Four SATA connectors provide simultaneous connection of multiple drives through a single Mini SAS HD port. A 0.5 m length reduces internal cable clutter and the black cable colour matches standard server interiors. Sideband support ensures compatibility with controllers that use sideband signals.

Suitable for

• Connecting a SAS controller with Mini SAS HD (SFF-8643) output to up to four SATA drives
• Internal cabling in servers and workstations
• Backplane to controller connections in storage systems

How to use

Power off the system before installing the cable. Insert the angled SFF-8643 connector into the Mini SAS HD 4i port on the controller or backplane, ensuring correct orientation. Connect the four SATA plugs to the corresponding SATA drive ports. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it inside the chassis to prevent strain on connectors. After installation, power on the system and verify drive detection in the controller or operating system.

Recommendations

Use this cable for internal connections only. Avoid excessive bending near the connectors and maintain manufacturer-recommended clearances from heat-generating components. Verify controller compatibility with SFF-8643 to 4x SATA breakout connections before use.
