i-tec Metal USB 3.0 HUB 3 θυρών + προσαρμογέας Gigabit Ethernet

The i-tec Metal USB 3.0 HUB 3 Port Gigabit Ethernet Adapter combines a passive USB hub with a Gigabit Ethernet adapter to connect USB peripherals to laptops, tablets and PCs while providing fast wired network access. The aluminium-colour metal housing offers durability and reliable everyday performance. The device is bus-powered and includes built-in overcurrent protection for the host computer. It supports a wide range of operating systems including Windows, macOS and Linux; Ethernet via USB may also work on Android devices when the device manufacturer enables Ethernet support.

Advantages

This adapter provides three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports for high-speed data transfer and standard USB charging, automatically detecting devices for charging. The Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) port supports 10/100/1000 Mbps networks for stable, high-speed internet access. The unit is plug-and-play, requires no external power, and its metal enclosure improves durability and heat dissipation. Built-in overcurrent protection helps protect the host in case of peripheral faults.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB flash drives, external SSDs and memory card readers to laptops and desktops
• Adding wired Gigabit network access to ultrabooks or tablets without an Ethernet port
• Expanding the number of USB Type-A ports for peripherals such as mouse, keyboard or webcam
• Use with Windows, macOS, Linux and Android devices (if Ethernet support is provided by the Android device)

Key specifications

• Host interface: USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) Type-A
• Hub interfaces: 3 × USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, 1 × RJ-45 (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Supported network speeds: 10/100/1000 Mbps
• Max data transfer (theoretical): up to 5000 Mbit/s
• Ports quantity: 4 (3 USB + 1 Ethernet)
• Product colour: Grey / metal housing
• Power source: USB bus-powered with built-in overcurrent protection
• Weight: 0.065 kg

How to use

Connect the hub to a host computer using the integrated USB Type-A connector. Plug USB peripherals into any of the three USB 3.0 Type-A ports; the hub will enumerate devices automatically and provide standard USB charging where supported. For network access, connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port; the host will detect the wired network adapter and configure network settings automatically on supported operating systems. No external power supply is required for normal operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance use USB 3.0/3.1/3.2 Gen 1 compatible devices and high-quality Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cables. On Android devices, ensure the manufacturer enabled Ethernet support in system settings (Network Connection Settings → Other Networks → Ethernet) before relying on wired networking.
