Goobay USB Hub 74456 Type-A 5000 Mbit/s Ανοιχτό γκρι

The Goobay USB Hub 74456 expands a single USB-A port into four usable connections, enabling connection of multiple peripherals to a tablet, smartphone or laptop via one host port. The compact, light grey hub supports one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A SuperSpeed port and three additional USB 2.0 Type-A ports. It comes in a slim aluminium housing and a short integrated cable for use in tight setups and on the move.

Advantages

The USB hub provides simultaneous connectivity for up to four USB-A devices without driver installation and supports SuperSpeed transfer up to 5 Gbit/s on the USB 3.2 Gen 1 port while the other three ports provide USB 2.0 speeds. Its extra-compact design and robust aluminium case make it durable and pocketable for travel. The hub is backward compatible with USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 and works with common operating systems including Windows, macOS, Linux and Android.

Suitable for

• Connecting keyboards, mice and webcams to a laptop or tablet
• Attaching external storage (HDD/SSD) and flash drives for file transfer
• Using headsets or other USB peripherals when ports are limited

How to use

Connect the hub's integrated USB-A cable to an available USB-A host port on your laptop, tablet or adapter. Plug peripherals into the hub's USB-A sockets — use the USB 3.2 Gen 1 port for devices or storage that require higher transfer rates and the USB 2.0 ports for keyboards, mice or headsets. No additional drivers are normally required; the operating system should recognize connected devices automatically.

Recommendations

For best performance with external SSDs or large file transfers, connect the storage device to the USB 3.2 Gen 1 (SuperSpeed) port. Avoid connecting high-power devices that require dedicated power through the hub if they exceed the host port's power output; use a powered hub or direct connection in such cases.
