i-tec Advance USB 2.0 Προσαρμογέας Fast Ethernet

The ADVANCE Series offers i-tec accessories that combine modern design with advanced technologies and exclusive packaging. The i-tec USB 2.0 Fast Ethernet Adapter is an external 100/10 Mbps network interface that connects via USB, allowing you to add a wired LAN port to a computer, notebook or tablet without an external power supply. The adapter is compatible with a broad range of operating systems, including Windows, macOS and Linux; Android devices may also support Ethernet if the manufacturer has enabled this function in the device.

Advantages

The adapter provides a simple and compact solution to add a 100/10 Mbps wired network connection via a USB port. It requires no separate power source and supports multiple operating systems, enabling easy expansion of network connectivity for devices that lack an Ethernet port. On Android devices, Ethernet functionality is available when explicitly supported by the device firmware.

Key specifications

• Interface: USB 2.0
• Network standard: Fast Ethernet 100/10 Mbps
• Power: Bus-powered (no external power supply required)
• Compatibility: Windows, macOS, Linux; Android (if supported by device)
• Use case: Adds external wired LAN port to computers, notebooks and tablets

How to use

Connect the adapter to an available USB port on your computer, notebook or tablet. The operating system should detect the device and install the appropriate drivers automatically; if you are using macOS (for example macOS Sierra 10.12), download and install the driver available in the product's Download section. On Android devices, verify Ethernet support under Network Connection Settings → Other Networks where Ethernet must be listed.

Recommendations

If using macOS (notably Sierra 10.12), download and install the LAN drivers from the manufacturer's Download tab before connecting the adapter to ensure proper operation.
