Hypertec 850866-HY καλώδιο δικτύου κόκκινο 10 m Cat6 F/UTP (FTP)

The Hypertec 850866-HY Red 10m Cat6 F/UTP is a 10‑metre network patch cable engineered for reliable high‑speed data transmission in wired Ethernet environments. Compliant with Cat6 performance parameters and fitted with RJ‑45 connectors on both ends, this cable supports typical Gigabit Ethernet applications while F/UTP shielding reduces external electromagnetic interference. The red jacket provides clear visual identification for cabling runs in home, office, or data center setups without affecting signal integrity.

Advantages

F/UTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually unshielded pairs to offer improved protection against EMI and crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives. The Cat6 specification maintains signal quality at higher frequencies for stable throughput on compatible equipment. Standard RJ‑45 terminations ensure broad compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and network interface cards. The 10 metre length balances reach and manageability for typical desktop-to-rack and room‑to‑room connections.

Key specifications

How to use

Plug one RJ‑45 connector into the network port of a switch, router or wall outlet and the other into the device requiring a wired connection. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure physical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sharp kinks; maintain bend radius recommended for shielded Cat6 cables and avoid running parallel to high‑voltage power lines where possible to minimise potential interference.

Recommendations

For best performance, pair the cable with Cat6 or higher network equipment and terminate or patch through compatible shielded ports when available. Avoid excessive mechanical stress and maintain cable management practices (labels, ties, and conduits) to preserve shield continuity and reduce noise in network installations.
