Hypertec 392266-HY Καλώδιο InfiniBand/οπτικών ινών 2 m ST γκρι

The Hypertec 392266-HY 2 m ST Grey is a 2-metre OS2 single-mode fibre optic patch cable with ST connectors on both ends, designed for reliable high-speed data transmission over long distances. The cable features a grey outer jacket and a compact ST connector interface suitable for legacy and industrial networking equipment. Its construction minimizes signal attenuation and preserves optical performance in structured cabling and data centre environments.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable delivers low insertion loss and attenuation typical of OS2 single-mode fibres, enabling stable links for long-distance runs. The ST connector offers secure bayonet-style coupling that is easy to install and removes with a simple twist, reducing installation time. Durable outer sheath materials protect the glass fibre from mechanical stress and environmental factors, while the 2-metre length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack and equipment-to-panel connections without excess slack.

Key specifications

How to use

Inspect both connector endfaces for cleanliness before connecting; clean if necessary using a fibre cleaning tool or lint-free wipes and suitable solvent. Align the ST connector with the equipment socket, insert the connector and rotate the bayonet sleeve until it locks into place. Avoid excessive bending near the connector and respect the cable's minimum bend radius during routing. For disconnection, twist the connector sleeve and pull straight out to prevent damage to the ferrule.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled without tight loops, keep connectors capped when not in use, and avoid exposure to sharp edges or heavy compression. For optimal optical performance, perform end-to-end testing after installation and use compatible single-mode transceivers and patching hardware.
