Hama 00200693 καλώδιο δικτύου μαύρο 3 m Cat8 S/FTP (S-STP)

The Hama 00200693 RJ-45 Cat8 networking cable is a 3 m black cable designed for high-speed wired connections. Complying with the Cat8 standard and supporting data rates up to 40 Gbps (40000 Mbit/s), it is intended for demanding network environments where fast, stable transmission is required. The cable features S/FTP double shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for reliable contact and reduced interference.

Advantages

Cat8 specification enables gigabit and multi-gigabit data transfer at up to 40 Gbps. The halogen-free (LSZH) sheath reduces toxic and corrosive gas emission and limits smoke in case of fire. Gold-plated plugs lower contact resistance to maintain secure signal transmission. S/FTP double shielding provides effective protection against electromagnetic interference. A slimline plug and flexible construction improve usability with mobile or flat devices and reduce the risk of cable kinking and breakage.

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into your network device (switch, router, modem or network card) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure both ports support the intended network speed and that connectors are fully inserted until they click. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and stress points; use cable management where available. For optimal performance, keep the cable separated from strong sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

For best results in multi-gigabit environments, pair this Cat8 cable with compatible Cat8-capable hardware and short patch runs in server rooms or switch cabinets. Avoid excessive bending and strain at the plug ends to maintain connector integrity and long-term performance.
