Καλώδιο οπτικών ινών Alcasa LW-P8100LC4 100 m 2x LC μωβ

The Alcasa LW-P8100LC4 100 m OM4 fibre optic cable with 2x LC connectors on both ends is designed for high-performance network links requiring reliable, low-loss transmission. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM4 multimode specification, the cable supports high bandwidth over mid-range distances and enables full duplex communication. The violet jacket provides clear colour identification for organised installations in data centres and structured cabling systems.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable offers low attenuation and high modal bandwidth suitable for 10GbE and higher multimode applications across typical data centre spans. Dual LC terminations on each end allow easy connection to transceivers and active equipment, while the 100 m length covers rack-to-rack and room-to-room links without the need for splices. The violet outer sheath improves visual management and reduces the risk of misrouting in dense cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Rack-to-rack links in data centres and server rooms
• Connections between switches and optical transceivers
• High-bandwidth multimode networks (10GbE, 40GbE with appropriate transceivers)
• Structured cabling systems and network distribution panels

Key specifications

• Cable type: OM4 multimode fibre
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC duplex on both ends (2x LC)
• Length: 100 m
• Colour: violet jacket for easy identification
• Duplex capability: full duplex transmission

How to use

Route the fibre cable along cable trays or within conduit to the required endpoints, avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress. Remove dust caps from LC connectors immediately before insertion and inspect connectors for contamination; use an appropriate fibre cleaning tool if necessary. Plug the LC connectors into compatible transceivers or LC ports, ensuring correct duplex orientation for transmit and receive channels. Secure the cable with Velcro ties or cable managers to prevent strain on connector ends.

Recommendations

Maintain a minimum bend radius according to multimode fibre guidelines (typically at least 10× the cable outer diameter) and avoid sharp bends. Store and handle the cable in a clean environment to prevent dust and debris on connector endfaces. For critical links, perform insertion loss and return loss testing after installation and use dust caps when connectors are disconnected.
