Καλώδιο δικτύου Alcasa 40m Cat6 S/FTP πράσινο

The Alcasa 40m Cat6 S/FTP networking cable delivers Category 6 performance with S/FTP (shielded/foil over twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk over longer runs. This 40 meter cable includes RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure stable contact and consistent data transmission. The green jacket provides visual identification in structured cabling environments and helps separate this run from other cables.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each twisted pair and an overall foil shield improves signal integrity in environments with multiple adjacent cables or electronic equipment. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts resist corrosion and provide reliable electrical contact. The 40 m length supports placements where wall-to-wall or room-to-room connections are required without adding patch panels or intermediate couplers. The cable’s Category 6 specification supports faster network speeds and better performance margins than older categories on typical Ethernet links.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in offices, server rooms and home networks
• Connections between network switches, routers and patch panels
• Long single-run installations where a continuous 40 m cable avoids multiple shorter patch cords
• Environments requiring improved EMI protection such as near electrical equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual pair foil + overall foil)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 40 m
• Colour: Green

How to use

Route the Alcasa Cat6 S/FTP cable between devices ensuring bends are gradual and the minimum bend radius recommended for Cat6 cable is respected. Plug the RJ-45 connectors firmly into network ports on switches, routers, computers or patch panels. For installations passing through metal conduits or close to large power cables, maintain separation as recommended by cabling standards and use the cable’s shielding termination at equipment or patch panels to preserve EMI protection.

Recommendations

For best results, test the installed link with a network cable tester supporting Cat6 performance metrics. Terminate shielding properly at both ends when connecting to shielded patch panels or keystone jacks to retain S/FTP effectiveness. Avoid sharp bends, excessive pulling force, and prolonged exposure to sunlight to maintain cable integrity and transmission characteristics.
