How to use

Connect the hub to each host using the appropriate upstream cables supplied with the device, then plug keyboards, mice and other USB-A peripherals into the hub's downstream ports. Use the hub's switching control to select the active host; connected devices will be available to the selected computer. For file transfers, ensure the target host recognizes the storage device before initiating read/write operations. Place the hub within easy reach to switch hosts as needed.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, connect high-power devices such as external hard drives to a powered USB port or use a powered USB hub if necessary. Avoid hot-plugging high-current devices during active transfers and ensure both hosts are configured to accept USB input devices. Keep firmware and drivers for host operating systems up to date to maintain compatibility with USB peripherals.
