GLW Καλώδιο Patch Duplex Telegärtner LC-Duplex G50/125 2m

The Telegärtner FO Duplex Patch Cable LC-Duplex G50/125 2m is a factory-assembled fiber optic patch cord with duplex LC connectors and a 2-meter length. It is designed for reliable optical data transmission and is suitable for use in patch panels, between outlets and terminals, and in InfiniBand networks. The cable uses multimode G50/125 fibre and a flame-retardant, halogen-free sheath for reduced environmental impact.

Advantages

Duplex LC connectors are wired with crossed channels so that channel A on one side connects to channel B on the other, preventing reversal of transmit and receive lines. Simplex connectors use colour-coded boots (A = black, B = red) for clear identification. Factory assembly ensures consistent optical and mechanical performance, with optimized components and controlled manufacturing to minimise insertion loss and reflection. The halogen-free, flame-retardant jacket improves safety and lowers environmental load.

Suitable for

• Patch panels and fiber distribution frames
• Connections between wall outlets and network terminals
• InfiniBand and other high-speed multimode links
• Data centres and telecommunications rooms

Key specifications

• Brand: Telegärtner
• Model / MPN: L00871A0004
• EAN: 2000007973329
• Connector type: LC duplex
• Fibre type: multimode G50/125
• Length: 2 m
• Cable sheath: flame-retardant, halogen-free

How to use

Insert the LC duplex connectors into compatible LC adapter ports on patch panels or devices, ensuring the duplex orientation matches the intended transmit and receive pairs. For simplex identification, verify the A (black) and B (red) boots to maintain correct channel assignment. Avoid tight bends and mechanical strain on the cable; secure the cable with appropriate routing and strain-relief in racks and enclosures.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable according to standard fibre optic practices: keep connectors clean, protect endfaces with dust caps when not in use, and follow bend-radius limits specified by the manufacturer to maintain optical performance and service life.
