Φορητός αναγνώστης barcode Opticon C-41S

The Opticon C-41S is a compact handheld bar code reader designed for reliable 1D scanning in retail, logistics, ticketing and postal environments. It uses a CCD sensor and delivers up to 300 reads per second through a wide optical window that eases reading of linear barcodes. The scanner connects via USB, draws power from the host (170 mA), and has an IP42 rating for basic dust and moisture resistance. With a lightweight 55 g body and slim dimensions, the C-41S is easy to handle and sits balanced in the hand thanks to its ergonomic design.

Advantages

The C-41S provides fast and accurate 1D barcode capture with a wide reading window and a 300 reads/s rate. Its USB wired connection ensures simple setup and plug-and-scan operation while the low power consumption allows direct USB powering. The ergonomic shape and light weight improve comfort during prolonged use, and the IP42 protection increases durability in everyday commercial settings.

How to use

Connect the C-41S to a host device using the supplied USB cable; the scanner is powered via USB and requires no external power supply. Point the scanner at the 1D barcode so the barcode fills the optical window, then press the trigger (or use automatic reading if configured) until the reader beeps or the host confirms a successful read. Configure interface settings and symbology options via the scanner’s programming manual to match your application.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, keep the optical window clean and avoid direct exposure to strong sunlight. Use the anti-microbial white version where hygiene is critical. Ensure the host system is configured for the required 1D symbologies and test the read distance and angle for barcodes typical to your workflow.
