Φορητός αναγνώστης barcode Datalogic Gryphon I GD4520

The Datalogic Gryphon I GD4520 is a wired handheld 1D/2D barcode reader designed for general-purpose scanning in retail, healthcare and logistic environments. The kit includes the scanner and a USB cable (90A052278). The GD4520 features a megapixel 2D imager with warm-white illumination, a 4-dot visible aimer with center cross, and Datalogic Motionix™ motion-sensing technology that automatically switches scanning modes for handheld or presentation reading. A disinfectant-ready, anti-microbial enclosure option is available for healthcare applications.

Advantages

The Gryphon I GD4520 combines high-resolution 2D reading performance with ergonomic design and low weight (0.161 kg), providing comfortable, efficient scanning during extended use. Warm-white illumination improves readability of colored labels and reduces eye fatigue. Motionix™ enables seamless transitions between hand-held and presentation use without manual mode switching, while the precise 4-dot aimer minimizes accidental reads in multi-code environments.

Suitable for

• Point-of-sale and retail checkout
• Inventory and stock management
• Laboratory and healthcare barcode scanning (use healthcare model with disinfectant-ready enclosure)
• Light industrial and logistics scanning tasks

Key specifications

• Scanner type: 1D/2D imager
• Supported codes: QR Code, Micro QR, Aztec, Data Matrix, Han Xin, MaxiCode
• Connectivity: Wired (USB cable included, part 90A052278)
• Weight: 0.161 kg
• Power: 5 V DC, typical current 300 mA

How to use

Connect the scanner to a host device using the provided USB cable. Point the imager at the barcode so the code is within the 4-dot aimer area; the center cross helps target a specific code when multiple barcodes are present. The Motionix™ sensor will detect hand movement or presentation and automatically select the appropriate reading mode. For presentation scanning, place the scanner in a compatible stand (optional) or simply present items to the imager.

Recommendations

For healthcare environments, choose the disinfectant-ready healthcare model and follow facility cleaning protocols. Avoid exposing the imager to direct, prolonged sunlight and keep the scanner lens clean for consistent reading performance. Use the warm-white illumination to improve decoding of colored labels.
