Extralink CAT6A U/UTP Indoor Twisted Pair Καλώδιο εγκατάστασης 305 m Λευκό EX.96631

The Extralink EX.96631 is a Category 6A unshielded (U/UTP) indoor twisted-pair installation cable supplied on a 305 m (1000 ft) pull-box reel. Built with four pairs of solid bare-copper conductors and a plastic pair separator (cross-filler), it is engineered for permanent in-building structured cabling and supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GBASE-T) over the full Cat6A bandwidth of up to 500 MHz.

Advantages

The solid bare-copper conductors deliver low DC resistance and stable signal performance over long runs, while the central cross-filler keeps the four pairs evenly spaced to reduce crosstalk. The pull-box packaging feeds cable smoothly without tangling or kinking, making it ideal for routing through walls, ceilings, conduits and trunking. As a U/UTP design it is lightweight and easy to terminate onto keystone jacks, patch panels and RJ45 plugs.

Suitable for

• Permanent structured cabling in offices, homes and commercial buildings
• 10 Gigabit Ethernet backbones and high-speed workstation links
• Wall, ceiling, conduit and cable-tray installations
• Feeding patch panels, network outlets and keystone modules
• IP camera, access point and PoE device runs

How to use

Pull the required length directly from the box, routing it along the planned cable path and avoiding sharp bends below the cable's minimum bend radius. Cut to length, strip the PVC jacket, untwist each pair minimally and terminate onto Cat6A or Cat6 keystone jacks, patch panels or RJ45 plugs following the T568A/T568B colour scheme. After installation, test each link with a certified cable tester to confirm correct wiring and Cat6A performance.

Recommendations

For reliable 10 Gigabit operation keep individual runs within 100 m channel limits, maintain pair twists as close to the termination point as possible and avoid running the cable parallel to mains power lines. Use Cat6A-rated connectors and outlets throughout the link, and certify every installed run to ISO/IEC 11801 Class EA before commissioning.
