Εξωτερικός επεκτατής Gigabit PoE+ Intellinet 561211

The Intellinet Outdoor Gigabit High-Power PoE+ Extender Repeater (561211) extends a PoE connection over Cat5e or Cat6 cable, enabling up to 100 m (328 ft.) between a PoE source and a powered device. The device supports IEEE 802.3at/af standards, forwards data at Gigabit speeds and can be cascaded up to five units to cover longer distances. Housed in a robust metal enclosure with an IP65 rating and an operating temperature range from -40 to 75 °C, the extender is designed for reliable outdoor deployment without an external power supply, drawing its energy from the PoE input.

Advantages

This PoE+ extender provides a straightforward way to lengthen Ethernet runs while delivering both power and data over existing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling. With IP65 protection, a compact metal housing and Gigabit throughput, it is suitable for outdoor installations where extended reach is required. The unit is IEEE 802.3at-compliant and supplies up to 25 W of input power to connected 802.3af/at devices; cascading multiple extenders further increases range while keeping installation simple and avoiding the need for additional AC wiring.

Suitable for

• Outdoor PoE network cameras
• Outdoor wireless access points
• Remote VoIP phones and other PoE endpoints in outdoor or semi-outdoor locations
• Extending Ethernet runs where power outlets are unavailable

• Max power consumption: 4 W

How to use

Connect the PoE source (PoE switch or PoE injector) to the unit's "PoE In" RJ-45 port and connect the powered device to the "PoE Out" port using Cat5e or Cat6 cable. Each cable segment can be up to 100 m; to extend beyond 100 m, install additional extenders in series (cascade) up to the supported number. The unit requires no configuration and draws power from the PoE input, so no external power supply is necessary.

Recommendations

When cascading multiple extenders, account for power budget and cable loss: each added extender consumes up to 4 W of usable PD power and additional losses increase with cable length. Ensure the upstream PoE source can provide sufficient power for the total chain and keep individual cable runs within 100 m to maintain Gigabit performance.
