Equip tester καλωδίων δικτύου, RJ45, BNC, PoE

The Network Cable Tester Equip 129968 is a compact diagnostic tool for verifying and troubleshooting network and coaxial cabling. It supports RJ45, BNC, RJ11 and RJ12 connectors and includes Power over Ethernet (PoE) testing, making it suitable for Ethernet, CCTV and telephony environments. The tester helps locate open circuits, short circuits and wiring errors to streamline installation and maintenance tasks.

Advantages

The tester combines multiple connector types in one handheld unit, enabling checks of Ethernet and coaxial runs as well as telephone lines without swapping tools. Built-in PoE testing allows verification of power availability on PoE-enabled links. Its compact size and battery operation support portable use on site, and RoHS compliance reflects adherence to environmental standards.

Suitable for

• Ethernet cable verification and fault finding (RJ45)
• CCTV/coaxial cable testing (BNC)
• Telephone line checks (RJ11/RJ12)
• Checking presence and basic status of PoE power on network links

How to use

Connect the appropriate cable end to the matching connector on the tester and follow the device indicators to observe wiring continuity, shorts or miswiring. For PoE checks, connect the Ethernet cable to the tester and activate the PoE test mode to detect presence of power on the pair. Replace the 9V battery when indicator shows low power to ensure reliable readings.

Recommendations

Use the tester on de-energized circuits when performing physical wiring checks; for PoE testing take standard safety precautions around powered equipment. Store the unit in a dry, dust-free place and replace the battery during extended field work to avoid interrupted diagnostics.
