The DIGITUS Unique Series wall mounted rack DN-19 12-U-SW is a 12U network cabinet designed and manufactured in Germany for demanding IT infrastructure solutions. Constructed from up to 1.5 mm thick sheet steel and finished with an electrostatic powder coating in jet black (RAL 9005), the cabinet supports equipment mounting in a 19" format with an internal depth of 450 mm and overall dimensions of 600 x 643 x 450 mm (W x H x D). It provides secure storage with a key lock and an IP20 rating for protection against solid objects.

Advantages

The cabinet features a robust steel construction for sturdy wall mounting, a lockable safety-glass front door with a steel frame, and removable, lockable side panels for easy access. Two pairs of galvanized 483 mm (19") profile rails with rack unit markings readable in both directions are depth-adjustable to accommodate different equipment. Cable management is simplified by a sliding roof cable inlet with foam rubber seal, pre-cut cable inlets in the back wall and floor plate with plastic covers, and a pre-cut area in the roof for an optional fan module. Door hinges are reversible to suit installation requirements.

How to use

Mount the cabinet on a solid wall by first fixing the housing frame plate to the wall and then connecting the cabinet housing. Adjust the depth of the 19" profile rails to match the equipment depth and secure them in place. Feed network and power cables through the sliding cable inlet in the roof or the pre-cut inlets in the back wall and floor; remove the plastic covers as needed. Install patch panels, switches or other 19" devices into the profile rails and fasten with appropriate rack screws. If required, fit an optional fan module in the pre-cut roof area and reverse the door hinges to match the installation orientation.

Recommendations

For stable and safe installation, verify wall load capacity and use appropriate anchors. Keep ventilation clear and do not exceed the 100 kg maximum load. For free-standing use, install optional leveling feet or casters and ensure the cabinet is placed on a level, stable surface.
