Elinchrom Rotalux Softbox μαύρο νάιλον 350x250x1000mm

The Elinchrom Rotalux Stripbox 35x100 cm (14x35") is a professional softbox made from durable black nylon. With dimensions of approximately 350 x 250 x 1000 mm, this strip softbox provides controlled, even light distribution to soften shadows and shape highlights for studio portraiture, product and fashion photography. The kit includes the softbox rods, a black/silver outer cover, both internal and external diffusers, and a Rotalux carrying bag. Compatible speedrings are available for Elinchrom, S-mount Bowens, Broncolor Pulso, Hensel EH, AlienBee/Balcar, Comet, and Profoto OCF systems.

Advantages

The Rotalux Stripbox delivers uniform, directional soft light that reduces harsh shadows and offers precise highlight control thanks to its narrow rectangular shape. Constructed from robust materials and supplied with both internal and external diffusers, it ensures consistent light quality and easy transport with the included carrying bag. Multiple speedring compatibility provides flexibility across common studio lighting mounts.

How to use

Assemble the softbox by inserting the rods into the frame and attaching the black/silver cover. Fit the internal diffuser first for even initial diffusion, then attach the external diffuser if a softer, more uniform light is required. Mount the appropriate speedring for your strobe or monobloc, secure the unit on a light stand, and point the stripbox to shape the light as needed—vertically for full-body or hair lighting, horizontally for product and tabletop setups.

Recommendations

Use the Rotalux Stripbox at moderate distances (1–3 m) from the subject to maintain a balance between softness and directional control. For crisper edge highlights, remove the external diffuser or add grids (sold separately). Store the softbox in its carrying bag when transporting to preserve shape and materials.
