The SACON 442607,300 3m Cat6 S/FTP Turquoise networking cable provides a 3-metre connection for devices requiring gigabit-capable data transfer. Constructed to Cat6 specification with S/FTP (shielded/foil over twisted pairs) cabling, it reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while supporting high-bandwidth applications. Both ends are terminated with standard RJ-45 plugs for compatibility with routers, switches, computers and other networked equipment. The distinctive turquoise jacket makes cable routing and identification easier in mixed-cable environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction offers improved protection against external noise compared with unshielded cables, resulting in more stable throughput in electrically noisy environments. Cat6 performance supports higher frequencies and reduced insertion loss compared with older cable categories, enabling reliable gigabit Ethernet and many multimedia streaming uses. The 3 m length balances flexibility and minimal excess cable for tidy installations. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure plug-and-play compatibility with common network hardware.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers and laptops to routers or switches
• Wired connections for game consoles and smart TVs
• Office workstations and small office network links
• Temporary or permanent patch leads in structured cabling closets

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6 (suitable for gigabit Ethernet)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall foil plus individual pair shielding
• Length: 3 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Conductor: twisted pairs (copper)
• Jacket color: turquoise
• Typical applications: data networking, multimedia streaming, gaming

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or modem and the other connector into the Ethernet port of your device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until you hear a click to establish a secure electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tension; keep it away from high-power electrical cables where possible to reduce interference. For structured installations, use appropriate cable management such as clips or ties to maintain airflow and appearance.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid tightly coiling the cable and maintain bend radii recommended for twisted-pair cabling. Use the 3 m length where a mid-range fixed connection is required; for longer runs, select appropriate in-wall or higher-category cabling. If the environment has significant electromagnetic interference, verify that both endpoints and network equipment support shield termination to maximize the benefit of S/FTP shielding.
