DSIT CAT 8 S/FTP PiMF Καλώδιο Δικτύου RJ45, λευκό, 5m

In a busy data center, a network engineer needs a cable that can handle 40 Gigabit Ethernet without signal loss. This DSIT CAT 8 cable delivers exactly that, with S/FTP shielding and PiMF construction to keep data flowing cleanly even in high-interference environments.

Key specifications

• Category 8 (CAT 8) performance, backward compatible with CAT 7/6A/6/5e
• S/FTP shielding: braided outer shield plus foil around each twisted pair (PiMF)
• Supports data rates up to 40 Gbit/s over distances up to 30 meters
• Bandwidth up to 2000 MHz, ideal for 25GBASE-T and 40GBASE-T
• Gold-plated RJ45 connectors for corrosion resistance and reliable contact
• Stranded copper conductors for flexibility and durability
• PVC jacket in white for easy identification and routing
• Length: 5 meters, suitable for patch panel to switch connections
• PoE support: PoE, PoE+, PoE++ (4PPoE) for powering devices
• Compliant with TIA/EIA-568-C.2-1 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards

Why choose it

This cable is built for high-speed networking where every millisecond counts. The S/FTP shielding and PiMF design reduce alien crosstalk and EMI, ensuring stable 40 Gbps links. The white jacket blends into cable trays and racks, making it easy to organize. Gold-plated connectors maintain signal integrity over thousands of insertions, and the stranded copper core withstands frequent bending without breaking.

Ideal use cases

• Data centers connecting servers to top-of-rack switches
• High-performance workstations requiring 10G or 25G Ethernet
• Home networks with NAS devices and 4K/8K streaming
• Gaming setups demanding low latency and high bandwidth
• Professional AV installations with long cable runs

Good to know

The cable is backward compatible with all previous Ethernet standards, so it works with existing equipment. For optimal performance, keep the bend radius above 4 times the cable diameter. The PVC jacket is suitable for indoor use; for outdoor or plenum spaces, consider an LSZH or outdoor-rated alternative. This cable is RoHS compliant and comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
