DSIT CAT 6 S/FTP LSOH Καλώδιο δικτύου, 10 m, Μπλε

In modern networks, unreliable cabling is often the hidden cause of slow speeds, dropped connections, and frustrating downtime. The DSIT CAT 6 S/FTP LSOH Network Cable solves this by delivering stable, high-speed data transfer up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet, with robust shielding that protects against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Whether you're wiring a data centre, office workstation, or home network, this 10-metre blue patch cable ensures your critical connections remain fast and dependable.

Who is it for

This cable is ideal for IT professionals, network administrators, and home users who need a reliable, high-performance link between network devices. It is perfect for connecting computers, servers, switches, routers, and IP cameras, especially in environments where cable runs are longer or where interference from other electrical equipment is a concern. The LSOH jacket makes it particularly suitable for enclosed spaces where fire safety and low smoke emission are important.

Main features

• CAT 6 performance with S/FTP shielding: each pair is foiled and the overall cable is braided, providing excellent protection against EMI and crosstalk.
• Supports 10GBASE-T up to 55 metres and 1000BASE-T up to 100 metres, with a bandwidth of 250 MHz.
• LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket: emits low smoke and no toxic halogens in case of fire, enhancing safety.
• High-quality 26 AWG copper conductors ensure optimal signal integrity and support for Power over Ethernet (PoE).
• Gold-plated RJ45 connectors resist corrosion and provide a reliable connection over many mating cycles.
• Backward compatible with CAT5e and CAT5 standards, making it a versatile upgrade for existing networks.

Tips

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and do not exceed the minimum bend radius of approximately 4 times the cable diameter. When routing through walls or conduits, ensure the cable is not stretched or pinched. To maintain the shielding effectiveness, use shielded RJ45 connectors and grounded patch panels where possible. This cable is also suitable for PoE applications up to 30W, but always check your equipment's power requirements.
