DSIT CAT 6 καλώδιο δικτύου U/UTP - 0,50 m - πορτοκαλί - CCA (DC-C66-005)

In a compact home office or a crowded server rack, a short, reliable patch cable is often the missing link between a stable network and frustrating downtime. The DSIT CAT 6 U/UTP cable delivers exactly that: a 0.50-meter orange connection that handles Gigabit Ethernet without excess bulk. Whether you're linking a PC to a wall outlet, connecting a router to a switch, or tidying up a patch panel, this cable's stranded copper-clad aluminum conductors and precise RJ45 terminations ensure consistent performance.

Key specifications

• Category 6 performance with U/UTP unshielded twisted pair construction
• Length: 0.50 m – ideal for short, neat connections
• Conductor material: Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) – lightweight and cost-effective
• Connectors: RJ45 male to RJ45 male, 50-micron gold-plated contacts
• Bandwidth up to 250 MHz, supports 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet
• Jacket: durable PVC, orange colour for easy identification
• Wiring standard: TIA/EIA-568B, 4 twisted pairs, stranded conductors
• RoHS compliant

Why choose it

This cable is built for everyday networking where short runs are common. The CCA conductors keep the price down while still meeting Cat 6 specifications for Gigabit speeds, making it a practical choice for home users, small offices, and IT technicians who need reliable patch cords without overspending. The bright orange jacket stands out in a bundle, simplifying cable management and troubleshooting.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting a desktop PC or laptop to a nearby Ethernet wall port
• Linking a router, modem, or switch in a home or small office setup
• Patching between devices in a network cabinet where space is tight
• Replacing worn or damaged short cables in existing installations

Good to know

Because the cable uses CCA conductors, it is best suited for short runs and standard indoor environments. For longer distances or Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, consider solid copper cables. The U/UTP design means no overall shielding, so avoid running it parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. With a length of only 0.5 meters, it helps reduce clutter and signal loss compared to longer cables.
