DSIT CAT 6 καλώδιο δικτύου LSOH - S/FTP - 3 μέτρα - μπλε (DC-S64-030)

In a busy office, a network engineer replaces a faulty patch cord between a workstation and a wall outlet, ensuring a stable connection for video conferencing. The DSIT CAT 6 Network Cable LSOH - S/FTP - 3 Meter - Blue delivers reliable performance for demanding network environments. This cable features S/FTP shielding, where each twisted pair is individually foiled and the entire bundle is screened, providing excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk. The LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket ensures safety in case of fire, emitting low smoke and no toxic halogens, making it suitable for public buildings and enclosed spaces. With a length of 3 meters, it offers flexibility for connecting devices in close proximity, such as from a patch panel to a switch or from a wall outlet to a computer. The blue color aids in cable management and identification.

Why choose it

This cable ensures high-speed data transfer with minimal interference, thanks to its S/FTP shielding. The LSOH jacket adds a safety advantage, producing low smoke and no halogen gases in case of fire, which is critical for compliance with fire safety standards like IEC 60332-1, IEC 61034-2, and IEC 60754-2. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and ensure reliable connectivity over time. The stranded conductor design provides flexibility, making it easy to route in tight spaces without breaking.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting computers to network wall outlets in offices
• Linking patch panels to switches in server rooms
• Use in areas with high EMI, such as near power lines or industrial equipment
• Public buildings where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required
• Home networks for high-speed internet and media streaming

Good to know

The cable is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 standards, allowing use in existing networks. It supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications, enabling both data and power transmission over a single cable. The blue color aids in visual identification and organization. The cable meets fire safety standards, making it suitable for installations where safety is a priority.
