DSIT CAT 6 Καλώδιο δικτύου LSOH - S/FTP - 2 Μέτρα - Μπλε (DC-S64-020)

In a busy office, a network engineer is setting up a high-speed workstation that demands reliable 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. The DSIT CAT 6 Network Cable LSOH - S/FTP - 2 Meter - Blue (DC-S64-020) is the ideal choice for this task, providing a shielded, low-smoke, zero-halogen solution that ensures both performance and safety. This 2-meter blue patch cable connects servers, switches, and computers with precision, making it a staple in professional IT environments.

Key specifications

• Category 6 performance with S/FTP shielding for superior noise immunity
• LSOH jacket material for low smoke and zero halogen emissions in case of fire
• 2-meter length, ideal for patch panel to device connections
• Blue colour for easy identification in cable management
• RJ45 male connectors on both ends, gold-plated contacts
• Supports data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps and bandwidth up to 250 MHz
• 24 AWG bare copper conductors, 4 twisted pairs, TIA/EIA-568B wiring
• Snagless boot design to protect connector clips
• Compliant with RoHS and CE standards

Why choose it

This cable is engineered for demanding network environments where interference and safety are critical. The S/FTP shielding (screened and foiled twisted pair) provides excellent protection against electromagnetic and radio frequency interference, ensuring stable, error-free data transmission. The LSOH jacket is a standout feature: in the event of a fire, it emits very low smoke and no toxic halogens, making it suitable for use in public buildings, offices, and other areas where safety regulations are strict. The snagless design prevents accidental disconnections, and the gold-plated contacts resist corrosion for long-term reliability.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting computers to network switches in office environments
• Linking servers to patch panels in data centres
• High-speed data transfer for 10GBASE-T networks
• Installations in public buildings where LSOH cables are required by fire safety codes
• Home networking for gaming, streaming, and large file transfers

Good to know

The cable is fully backward compatible with previous Ethernet standards such as Cat5e and Cat6, so it works seamlessly with existing equipment. Its 2-meter length provides flexibility without excess clutter, and the blue colour helps distinguish it from other cables. The impedance is 100 Ohm, and the cable meets flammability rating IEC 60332-1. It is RoHS compliant, ensuring it is free from hazardous substances. Whether you are upgrading your office network or building a new one, this DSIT cable delivers performance and peace of mind.
